A fund managed by a subsidiary of Ares Administration Corp. purchased a six-building industrial portfolio totaling 1.5 million sq. ft, together with greater than 600,000 sq. ft within the Houston space, from Chicago-based Molto Properties. The native properties encompass 625 Independence Parkway (414,000 sq. ft) and 645 Independence Parkway (194,610 sq. ft) in Deer Park. Adam Tyler, Jim Carpenter and Mike Tenteris of Cushman & Wakefield represented the vendor. The portfolio, which included properties in Louisville, Ky., Chicago, Nashville and Cincinnati, is 94 % leased to 9 tenants. Ares Administration acquired Black Creek Group’s U.S. actual property funding advisory and distribution enterprise in July.
